- Do I have a financial recording system that provides me with the regular, useful key data information for me to make the decisions about my business?
- Do I need to look at my plant and equipment, fixtures and fittings to make sure they are what my business needs and are located in their best productive position?
- Are my business supply lines reliable and diversified?
- Are the terms of trade I have with my customers and suppliers the best I can get to minimise my working capital requirements?
- What am I doing about research and developing new products and services to offer to my customers and to get new customers?
- Do I have the best employees in my business and in their best roles for wages paid?
- Am I recording my liabilities for my employees benefits on my balance sheet?
- Is my business located in its best position relative to my customers and suppliers?
- Do I really know who and where my competitors are and their market activities?
- Am I in compliance with my insurance and legislative requirements?
